What is PayPal?
PayPal is an online service that allows you to use a credit card to
order tickets. However, you need to sign on to PayPal in order to use
it. You can get more information and sign up at www.paypal.com.
How
can I order tickets without going through PayPal?
Tickets are available through the Sunnydale
Central website directly.
Payment is by cheque or money order only, payable to PRIMEDIA. Be sure
to include your email address to receive confirmation. You need to
bring your confirmation and a photo ID to the event in order to receive
your ticket(s). You can also pay cash at any of the events that Sunnydale
Central will be at. Our next event is Toronto Trek in July so be sure
to look for our table.
Will PayPal send me the ticket to Sunnydale Central?
No. PayPal will forward your payment to Sunnydale Central
and then we will send out a registration
confirmation/receipt. This confirmation,
along
with
photo
ID, needs to be brought to the event in order to receive your ticket(s).
When will my tickets be sent to me?
Tickets can only be picked up
at the Sunnydale Central registration desk along with your badge
holder. Receipts will be sent out via
email (or snail mail if you do not include an email address on
your registration form). You must bring the receipt and photo ID with
you to Sunnydale Central in order to collect your ticket(s).
If I am unable to attend Sunnydale Central for any reason, will I
be able to get my money back?
No, as most events do, we have a no-refunds policy. We suggest that
you try to transfer your ticket(s) to someone else instead so the tickets
do not go unused. To transfer a ticket, a letter is required stating
your name, address and where/when you purchased the ticket. In addition,
the letter must contain the name, and address of the person receiving
the ticket. That person must bring photo ID, in addition to the letter,
in order to receive the ticket.
If Sunnydale Central is postponed, the following options
are available for paid ticket holders:
- OPTION 1: Roll your ticket over to the rescheduled
SC3 (date to be determined), if announced.
- OPTION 2: Full refund, which must be requested
in writing within 30 days following a postponement, if announced.
What is the itinerary for the weekend? Are all guests appearing the
same day?
A preliminary schedule of events has been
posted.
When will I know about the photo session?
The photo session will take place Sunday at 11 am. More information.
Can I save seats for my friends?
No. You must be present at the Q&A sessions in order to claim
your seat. Seating is arranged based on the ticket you have (first
VIP, then Gold and then Silver). Saving seats for people will not be
allowed and is strictly enforced.
Are cameras allowed in the Q&A sessions?
During the Q&A sessions, picture cameras, video cameras and digital
cameras will be allowed, subject to the preference of each actor.
Should
this change, there will be an announcement prior to each actor's appearance.
Can I photograph the guests when I go to get my autograph? Am I able
to get a photograph taken with the guests at any time?
Personal photos with the guests will be subject to the preference
of each actor. More info will be posted as soon as it is available.
For the free autograph, do I need to bring my own picture or item
to be signed?
No. Pictures will be on sale at the event.
Are the photos autographed for Supporting memberships personalized?
No,
the Supporting membership photos normally are not
personalized. Since the actors have a limited time to autograph during
the weekend, it is not possible to guarantee a personalized signature.
If time allows, and only if time allows, it might
be considered.

the Breakfast available to everyone?

to talk to each group. They will be
alternating tables and spending about 10 to 15 minutes at each table.
We are still working out all the details at this time.

Why isn't Sunnydale Central at SFX this year?
Due to the problems encountered with SFX, Sunnydale Central will be
relocated to a hotel in the Toronto area. We hope that this
move will allow for an even more intimate atmosphere for both our
guests and for the Buffy/Angel fans who attended Sunnydale Central
1 and 2.
It is important to note that relocation means the convention will
have more financial obligations and we hope that we have
managed to keep changes to the registration fees to a minimum. This
means that the convention might be obliged to have a room block. A
room block is the number of bedrooms booked and paid for by the attending
membership of Sunnydale Central 3. The total number of rooms is then
accounted for by the hotel under the convention's name. The more bedrooms
within the room block that are occupied, the more each attending member
assists the convention in reducing the costs of the function space
being used to put on Sunnydale Central 3. This reduction in costs allows
for more money to put into other areas of the convention, including
guests and programming.
Staying at the hotel also has its advantages in that it allows us
to
program later into the evening and means that people are not faced
with travelling late at night and then returning early the next day.
It is our hope that regulars to both previous Sunnydale Centrals will
be in the party mood and there is nothing like a good party to end
the evening on a good note.
